Canal Boating

The lines of the "CLASSIC" PÉNICHETTES recall the " Péniche", or working barge, which they resemble also in the attention paid to the needs of captain and crew. Everything has been carefully planned so you and your crew can enjoy life on board amidst the great outdoors. The Pénichette P935R/2, the most compact model is ideal for couples, while families will appreciate the extra space on the Pénichette P935R, P1106R and P1107R.

INSIDE

• The front cabin has a double bed and ample storage. On the P1107R there's also a basin. The corridor on the Pénichette P935R houses a single bed.

• The shower compartment has a marine WC, a shower, a basin, and stowage space.

• The central cabin of the Pénichette P1107R has a double berth to the right and a single berth to the left, as well as hanging space and drawers opposite the shower compartment.

• The steering position is raised, to allow a good forward view and easy communication with crew members on the sundeck. It is bright and airy, with opening windscreen and a big sliding sunshine roof'. The doors on either side make it easy for the captain to get out on deck. The distinctive profile of the wheelhouse adds to the character of the boat and is proof of its pedigree derived from the traditional working barge.

• The Saloon opens out of the wheelhouse. The saloon has a cooking area with refrigerator, cooker with oven and 2 or 3 rings, a sink, and storage. The large table, with either two bench seats or U-shaped seating converts into a double bed.

ON DECK

• Forward cabin with double bed, hand basin and storage. Shower compartment with shower, hand basin and marine WC.

• Central cabin with wedge-shaped double berth and optional upper single berth. Or identical layout to that of the P1107R. Additional storage and hanging cupboard in the corridor. Dinette convertible to double bed. Fitted kitchen. Raised inside helm position allows access to outside steering. Radio or CD Player.

ON DECK

• The Sundeck is ideal for sunbathing, reading or fishing.

• The roof of the aft saloon is ideal for storing bicycles on.

• Moving around the boat from the wheelhouse to the bows of the "Classic" Pénichettes is easy and safe thanks to the wide side decks with handrails. All boats carry a gangplank

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

• The "Classic" Pénichettes are powered by diesel engines of from 18 to 30 hp.

• 12 volt electricity is provided from an engine-driven alternator. On the dashboard is a 12v power point (for mobile phone, camcorder etc).

• Hot and cold water is pressurised. Hot water is provided either by a gas water-heater or by a heat exchanger on the engine. Heating is gas, either catalytic or forced warm air.

• A full inventory of all the boat's equipment is provided with your confirmation.
