Selecting a Boat

I recommend that in choosing a boat you choose a boat where people in your group don’t have to sleep on the kitchen table!! It really is possible to set a bed up on the kitchen but I find it rather too chaotic!! All boats have good cupboard spaces for storing your luggage, but if you have two large suitcases each you will find storage a problem! If you have an “out and back” cruise you can often leave your cases at the bases.

On the table below you will see which boats will best suit your group size. It really is then a case of deciding which style boat you prefer. As you will see there are three model boats; the standard “Classic” variety, the “Aft Deck” (ie back terrace) variety, and the “Flying Bridge” model. All boats are as much fun as each other but some offer advantages, and of course there is a difference in budget.
