Burgundy and Champagne

This tour will begin today in Paris. The next day we will drive through to the region of Champagne for a chance to savour the stories and famous produce of this reason. We will have two nights here, and during our time drive around the Montagne de Reims, see the Reims Cathedral, and visit Hautvilliers, the home of Dom Perignon. We will then travel through to Beaune in the heart of Burgundy for four nights. While in Burgundy we will explore the picturesque town of Beaune with its Hospice de Beaune. We will travel along the Cote d’Or past famous wine villages such as Romanée Conti, Vougeot, Gevrey Chambertin etc world famous for its Pinot Noir grapes, as well as visiting Meursault and Puligny Montrachet to the south of Beaune. We will visit the Abbaye de Fontenay as well as visit a private impressive Chateau. This is a tour where you will experience and taste some of the best of everything (in a wine sense), but also be introduced to the colourful historical attributes of this region.
