Luberon Walk
Difficulty: Walking 6 to 8 hours per day. Terrain is hilly. Suitable for regular walkers.
Best season: from March to November
The Luberon Valley is synonymous with beautiful things! It offers vibrant colours, picture-postcard villages, and seductive scents. The ochre of the Colorado de Rustrel contrasts with the blue of the sky and the green of the trees. The Alavon valley, which is irrigated and cultivated, is nothing less than a huge orchard surrounded by mountains: the Vaucluse mountains and the Alps of the Haute Provence to the north, the Petit and the Grand Luberon to the south. Covered by rocks, forests or intersected by deep gorges, these mountains shelter villages, that bear witness to the secrets and rich history of of time that this region offers. Beautiful places and memories will be your daily menu along with with a touch of ochre, the smell of lavender and above all an ever-present sun. Enjoy your walk !
